Brother and sister and at the same time partners, Erika and Federico Lamperti launched LAMPERTI MILANO and their first collection in the luxury industry in 2012. Careful about quality, craftsmenship and clients' needs, Lamperti Milano differs from other brands for their fashionable shoes special for their precious details.
We work mainly communicating by phone as we are both busy on different aspects of the business. During this start-up phase flexibility and informality are the key aspects for our competitive advantage.
2) Would you define yourselves more as artists, craftsmen or business-oriented figures?
We are two passionate young entrepreneurs who want to achieve a big project. In an economically though phase for our country we might be crazy, but despite obstacles and various warnings we continue to strongly believe in our project.
We are convinced that the luxury sector has a strong potential due to the crisis itself, especially within the emerging markets as the nouveau riches linger for niche production. It would be a major risk to invest on the mass market, which actually offers fewer opportunities for new ideas.
4) Regarding the collection, how did you conceived?
We aim at the highest manufacture quality, inspired by literature's classics, transforming words into objects. Our fils rouges are elegance, class and, last but not least, comfort.
5) What can the Made in Italy still offer nowadays?
What doesn't it have to offer?
LAMPERTI Milano will exhibit next Saturday (1st February) at WOMADE #7 at Chiostri di San Barnaba - MILANO. For more Information Click HERE
