Few years ago, the famous and controversial photographer Oliviero Toscani – together with ASPESI 1910, a historical optician in Milano – launched his own collection of Acetate and Coloured Glasses, taking inspiration from the Canal Street eyewears and American Social Security eyewears worn by well-known celebrities (like James Dean, Woody Allen, Johnny Deep, Andy Warhol), university professors, well-known and unknown writers and ordinary people.
The “final” shape of these models is considered to be indefinite (neither panto nor perimetric, neither round nor square). Simple, reasonably priced and Hand-Made in Italy by the artisans of Cadore (the land which is famous for the Acetate Glasses' production in Veneto): these are the glasses by Oliviero Toscani.
Moreover, Toscani directly created the advertising nice campaigns for his own collection by making some well-known figures (like Obama, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Einstein, Picasso, etc.) wear his glasses!
These fantastic glasses are finally available Online exclusively on FINAEST.COM in 2 sizes (Small and Large).
