The story of the brand Kyme starts as a game, almost a bet, from the mind of an inspired and resourceful optician: Antonello Calderoni. All began with the production
of a small sunglasses collection, that mirrors the personal taste of the businessman. Put in the drawers of Antonello’s optical shops, Kyme sunglasses were shyly shown to the clientele and sold together with other famous and established brands. What began as an experiment became a real success: Kyme sunglasses were much more appreciated then those of his direct competitors in the same range of price and customers target.
The brand, whose name comes from the Greek word which means wave, suggesting the idea of energy and movement, was effectively born in March 2013, in Altamura (Puglia). Since then, it has quickly become specialized in the design and production of high quality sunglasses, with the mission to restyle the evergreen sunglasses models in a more modern and fashionable way. The brand has increased day by day its own identity, developed through the high Italian craftsmanship and the continuous research of new models and designs.
The collection is totally Made in Italy, created thanks to the experience of Italian artisans, the meticulous style details and the use of the acetate cellulose by Mazzucchelli. This material, together with metal, CR39 or polycarbonate or nylon lenses, leather or silk covering, make up a collection with countless models and combination
of colors, shiny or opaque nuances, mirrored, flash or bicolor lenses. Often in limited or special editions, Kyme is proud of collaborations and partnerships with important fashion companies.
Kyme makes no exception: every creation reflects its physical and spiritual contact with the origins, instilling all the products with history and emotion. This is why FINAEST.COM has chosen this brand.Read More About Brand
